I also saw the elusive Cottontail at my bird feeder before sunrise...the one that leaves the funny pellets that my daughter brought a handful of to me the other day.

Hare, not so apparent
This Snowshoe Hare darted across Caribou Lake Rd in front of my car this
morning. The first I have seen a hare in the area, perhaps they are on
a population up swing. I
was only 30ft from him and when he turned his head away, hiding his
eyes from my view, he would nearly disappear. Especially on the this
gray, snowy day.
I also saw the elusive Cottontail at my bird feeder before sunrise...the one that leaves the funny pellets that my daughter brought a handful of to me the other day.
